The included chainring is SRAM flattop, SRAM 12 speed, Shimano 12 speed and Shimano Linkglide compatible. It will do all, but none of them perfectly. The perfect chainring for you is made to suit your drivetrain, this chainring gets you started because for some reason chainrings are hard to find sometimes.
